Part 1
Thomas Hunt: You’d better behave during our class field trip, Danny.
Professor Hunt and your class are on a field trip to the set of a new romantic drama called ‘Love is Everywhere’. He addresses the class just outside the studio warehouse.
Thomas Hunt: Listen up, everyone. We’re fortunate the producer is giving us the opportunity. That means you will behave in a way that reflects well on the university, no exceptions.
Professor Hunt shoots you an icy glare.
Danny: Yeah, yeah, I’m a troublemaker.
Thomas Hunt: No phones allowed on set! Put them in the bin by the doors as you enter!
The tour begins, and you listen to the guide talk about the chemistry between the two leads of the movie.
Danny: Hanging around romantic sets like these every day, it would be hard not to fall in love!
At long last, the tour comes to a close, and you see Professor Hunt off by himself. You nudge Addison.
Danny: I’m going to go talk to Hunt.
Addison: Oh yeah? Are you going to finally confess your crush?
Danny: It’s not a crush! And besides, he barely acknowledges me.
Addison: Oh please. The constant criticizing? The stern glares? I’m a thousand percent sure he’s got a thing for you.
Danny: Well… I want to know for sure.
Addison: Sounds serious. Are you sure this is the best time?
Danny: It’s the only time. Getting him alone is basically impossible.
Addison: Well, good luck, Danny. Let me know how it goes… I expect a full report later, with all the steamy details!
Addison and the rest of your classmates start to leave the warehouse. You approach Professor Hunt.
Danny: Excuse me, Professor?
Thomas Hunt: What do you want, Danny?
Danny: We need to talk about what happened… at the masquerade.
Hunt flinches. He glares at you and pulls you farther into the warehouse, away from the rest of the class.
Danny: Professor Hunt, I…
In the dark of the warehouse, you realize Hunt still hasn’t let go of your arm as he stares into your eyes.
Thomas Hunt: Danny…
You lean forward, your lips nearly brushing his. Suddenly, something in his eyes seems to change, and he pushes you away.
Thomas Hunt: Are you crazy?! I don’t know what you think is going to happen, but--
Danny: But what?
Thomas Hunt: I’ve already said everything that needs to be said, Danny. Our circumstances haven’t changed. Nothing’s changed.
Danny: But--
Just then, you hear the giant doors of the studio swing shut!
Danny: Hey! Wait! We’re in here!
As you and Hunt rush to the exit, you hear the lock turn. You grab the handle, but it won’t budge.
Thomas Hunt: You idiots! Let us out!
No one hears you shouting. It’s just you and Hunt, alone together.
Thomas Hunt: Great. Now I’m stuck with you for who knows how long on the set of this idiotic romance film.
Danny: There are worse ways to spend a night.
Thomas Hunt: I assure you, there are not. And if you think this is a date, Danny, let me stop that misconception right now. This is not a date.
You and Hunt are trapped in a studio warehouse with the sets for ‘Love is Everywhere’.
Thomas Hunt: I can’t believe you got us locked in here.
Danny: Me? How is this my fault?
Thomas Hunt: You wanted to talk. If it weren’t for you, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
Danny: Hey! You’re the one who dragged me all the way over here!
Thomas Hunt: I was compensating for your lack of discretion.
Danny: It doesn’t matter. Regardless, we’re stuck.
Rewards
Thomas Hunt: Let’s just find a way out as quickly as possible. I don’t want to have to deal with you.
Danny: No offense taken, in case you were wondering. Assuming you actually have emotions in that robot heart of yours.
Part 2
Thomas Hunt: We have to find a way out.
Thomas Hunt: There should be an emergency exit near the back.
You follow Hunt deeper into the warehouse. When you reach the back of the building, you can’t find any exits.
Thomas Hunt: Unbelievable. This is clearly a fire code violation. I’ll be drafting a strongly-worded email as soon as we get out of here.
Danny: Or, we could just make a night of it and enjoy ourselves until morning. Someone will come back eventually.
Thomas Hunt: Are you going to help? Or just stand there making inane comments?
Danny: I’m just saying, this doesn’t have to be the end of the world. It could even be kinda romantic…
Thomas Hunt: I told you. This is not a date.
Danny: Not with that attitude, it’s not.
Thomas Hunt: Just look for a way out, Danny.
Time - 4 hours
You follow Hunt as he looks for another exit.
Danny: Maybe this isn’t a real date, but we can at least talk. Who could blame a professor and student for talking when they’re accidentally locked on set together?
Thomas Hunt: It’s not about blame. I don’t want to talk to you. Not about this.
Danny: Why not? I don’t understand… you said nothing would change, but I know both of us want it to. Why can’t we have this one night?
Hunt’s jaw clenches, and he quickens his pace.
Danny: Really? The silent treatment? Real mature.
Rewards
You follow Hunt as he searches for a way out. He suddenly stops in his tracks, and you almost run into him.
Thomas Hunt: It looks like there’s an office over there with several computers inside.
Danny: Oh, you can talk now?
Thomas Hunt: If we get inside, we should be able to email someone and finally get out of here.
Part 3
Danny: How’re we going to get into that office?
Inside the movie studio, Hunt tries the handle of the office door, but it won’t budge.
Thomas Hunt: Figures.
Danny: So what’s your plan? Or are you still not talking to me?
Hunt looks around and points to an air duct high above you to the right.
Thomas Hunt: I can get in through there. There’s a vent inside the office where that air duct must lead.
Hunt grabs a nearby trellis from the set and places it as close to the air duct as he can.
Danny: A rose-covered trellis, huh? Some might call that romantic.
Thomas Hunt: Are you going to help me or not?
Danny: Well, I’ve got nothing else to do.
You steady the trellis as Hunt climbs up. At the top, he leans out to open the vent, but can’t quite reach without losing his balance. He glares down at you.
Thomas Hunt: Well, get up here. Obviously, I’ll have to hold you so you can reach.
Danny: Right. Obviously.
Hunt reaches down to help you as you carefully climb up the trellis. You grab his hand, and he lifts you the rest of the way up.
Danny: Oh!
The trellis leans precariously to one side. Hunt wraps his arm around your waist to keep you from falling.
Thomas Hunt: Careful.
The trellis steadies itself. You gaze up at Hunt, his arm still around you.
Danny: This is nice…
Thomas Hunt: Focus, Danny. I need you to reach that vent and take the cover off.
Danny: Okay, you can help by grabbing my butt.
Hunt grabs your butt.
Thomas Hunt: I don’t see how this is helping.
Danny: Oh, it’s helping…
Thomas Hunt: I’m not here to entertain your… perversions.
Danny: Whatever you say. Just hold my hand and we’ll deal with this vent issue.
Thomas Hunt: Danny!
Danny: Hey, you asked how you could help. Come on.
You hold your hand out, and he reluctantly takes it, holding tightly as you lean out to open the vent cover. With him as your counterweight, you’re able to brush your fingers against the vent.
Danny: Almost… there…
Thomas Hunt: Be careful.
Danny: Got it!
You swing out to grab the air duct with your other hand and pull yourself up. You crawl along to the office vent and jump down into the office, landing squarely on the desk.
Danny: I’m in.
You unlock the office from the inside and let Hunt in. He tries to turn on a computer.
Thomas Hunt: This one doesn’t work.
You watch as he tries computer after computer.
Danny: I think you missed one.
Thomas Hunt: These are all just props! This one is just a cardboard box painted to look like a computer.
Hunt throws the cardboard computer at the wall. Hunt throws the cardboard computer at the wall.
Thomas Hunt: I can’t believe I’m actually stuck here with you. This must be some kind of nightmare.
Danny: Does that mean you dream about me?
Thomas Hunt: That’s not what I… You know what I meant!
Rewards
You and Hunt leave the office. You shiver as you step back into the cold warehouse.
Thomas Hunt: No jacket? Typical.
Danny: Forgive me, I wasn’t planning on spending my evening in a giant refrigerator.
Thomas Hunt: I suppose you’re expecting me to offer you my coat like some boy walking you home from Prom?
Danny: I wouldn’t take it if you paid me.
Thomas Hunt: Well, we’re not getting out of here anytime soon.
Danny: You’re finally admitting you’ve been wrong this whole time?
Thomas Hunt: I wouldn’t go that far, but trying to escape is clearly futile. Your turn. What do you want to do?
Danny: Maybe we can look for something to eat?
Thomas Hunt: You had a good idea for once. There’s bound to be leftovers somewhere in this building.
Part 4
Danny: We’re gonna be here for a while. Let’s find something to eat.
You and Hunt find a restaurant set with several dining tables covered in red tablecloths, flower centerpieces, and tall candles. You check the food on the tables.
Danny: Fake food? I really wanted this chocolate-covered strawberry…
Thomas Hunt: Useless. Everything in this warehouse is useless.
Danny: Wait, I see a catering cart.
On the cart, you manage to find a few stale bagels hidden under a platter. You bring them back.
Danny: Looks like this is it.
Hunt reluctantly takes the seat across from you. You both grab bagels and eat in silence. After a while, Hunt puts his bagel down with a sigh.
Thomas Hunt: All right. Fine. Let’s talk.
Danny: Really? Mr. I Don’t Want To Talk To Danny All Day wants to talk?!
Thomas Hunt: We’re stuck here all night, and I know you’re not going to let up. Let’s just get this out of the way. What do you want to know?
Danny: Um, everything.
Thomas Hunt: You’re going to have to narrow it down a bit.
Danny: I want to know about your feelings.
Thomas Hunt: You already know enough.
Danny: I know you feel something for me, but I don’t understand why you can’t just tell me that now.
Thomas Hunt: Fine. You want to know how I actually feel? I’ll tell you even though it won’t make the slightest difference.
Hunt takes a deep breath and looks into your eyes.
Thomas Hunt: I feel--
Suddenly, the lights shut off, throwing you into pitch darkness!
Time - 6 hours
You and Professor Hunt sit in total darkness. The only sound is that of your breath and his.
Thomas Hunt: The power must’ve turned off for the night. We should light these candles.
Danny: Wait, you were going to tell me how you feel about me!
Thomas Hunt: That was almost a moment of weakness. It won’t happen again.
Danny: You have got to be kidding me.
Thomas Hunt: I’m not.
You hear a match being struck, and Hunt lights the candles on the table.
Danny: ‘Cause everyone just has matches on them. That’s normal.
Thomas Hunt: They were on the table. What have I told you about being observant?
Danny: We’re not in class right now. You don’t have to teach me all the time.
Thomas Hunt: But I do. It’s my job to always push you, to be firm if it means you reaching your full potential.
Danny: So you do care about me.
Thomas Hunt: As a student. This thing you feel for me, it’s just a crush. It’s fake love, the kind people eat up at the movies. Look around this set. None of this is real, yet when this movie comes out, people will swoon for the romance as though real love can be like that. But it’s all fake.
Danny: My feelings for you are not fake. What I feel for you is more than just a Hollywood romance. It’s real. And real feelings are about spending time with someone and enjoying their company, even when you’re just eating stale bagels together. Even when the other person is being ridiculously stubborn.
Rewards
Thomas Hunt: For once, I may have underestimated you, Danny.
Danny: Yeah, just this once.
You start shivering, the air growing colder.
Thomas Hunt: What’s wrong with you? Why are you shaking?
Danny: I’m fine. It’s just cold in here.
Hunt takes off his jacket and offers it to you.
Danny: I thought offering me a jacket was beneath you.
Thomas Hunt: Even I’m allowed to change my mind occasionally.
You wrap his jacket around your shoulders.
Danny: Thank you. But what about you?
Thomas Hunt: I’ll be fine for now, but it’s going to get colder in here.
Hunt grabs a candle from the table and motions for you to do the same.
Thomas Hunt: Come on. We’ll see if wardrobe has something warmer.
Part 5
Danny: It’s freezing in here!
You pick up a candle, and the two of you venture into the darkness. As you walk, you can see your breath in the candlelight.
Danny: Okay, so you’re not going to tell me about your feelings, I get that. But we can at least try to get to know each other a little better.
Thomas Hunt: Go ahead. Ask me something.
Danny: What was your childhood like?
Thomas Hunt: Typical, I suppose. I have a huge family, and I used to make my siblings and cousins act out the screenplays I wrote.
Danny: So you were a brutal director from a young age?
Thomas Hunt: I don’t know what you’re talking about. Although I did once make my oldest cousin cry… but she wasn’t reading the part with enough ennui.
Danny: Even as a child, you were just delightful, huh?
Thomas Hunt: Satisfied?
Danny: Never. But this will do for now.
The two of you continue walking through the dark. After a while, Hunt stops, staring at the set in front of him.
Thomas Hunt: Looks like we won’t have to go to wardrobe for blankets.
You raise your candle higher to shed more light on the set.
Danny: Oh!
Time - 8 hours
You and Hunt are in the middle of what looks like the set of a hotel suite. It has a king-sized, heart-shaped bed with rose petals scattered around the floor.
Danny: Well, this is… unexpected. I guess they go on their honeymoon in the movie, huh?
Thomas Hunt: I’ll sleep on the floor.
You hand Hunt a blanket and pillow from the bed, your fingers brushing his palm as he takes them.
Thomas Hunt: Your hands are freezing, Danny.
Danny: Well, I’ll be warmer on the floor next to you.
Hunt is quiet for a moment…
Thomas Hunt: Fine. But I’m only doing this so you don’t die of hypothermia. And once you’re warm enough, you can sleep on the bed. It shouldn’t go to waste.
Danny: Got it.
You sit down next to Hunt on the floor, and he wraps the blanket around you. You huddle close to him and feel the warmth of his body.
Danny: First time sleeping on a set?
Thomas Hunt: You’d be surprised. When I first started out, I pulled a lot of all-nighters. Sometimes I’d get so tired that I’d just sleep on set.
Danny: Really? It’s hard to picture the Thomas Hunt hunkered down with a blanket in the middle of the night…
You give Hunt a sideways glance.
Danny: Although I guess that’s what you’re doing now, so it’s actually pretty easy to picture.
Thomas Hunt: There were some rough times back then, but it was worth it. Anything’s worth it when you’re doing what you love.
You feel yourself drifting off to sleep, Hunt’s strong voice filling your dreams…

The next morning, you’re awaked by the sound of someone at the warehouse door.
Danny: What…
You look around and realize you’re cuddling on the floor with Hunt! His arm is slung over your waist, and as you try to get up, he tightens his grip. Still asleep, he mumbles…
Thomas Hunt: Don’t… go…
You pause, gazing at his unguarded, sleeping face. You brush a lock of his hair from his forehead, and an idea strikes you. You lean closer and whisper…
Danny: Do you have feelings for me?
Hunt doesn’t answer. You hear the far door of the warehouse creak open and decided to risk asking just a little louder…
Danny: Hunt… do you have feelings for me?
Hunt turns over, dragging the blanket with him. You try one last time as you hear people entering the studio.
Danny: Do you have feelings for me, Thomas?
Still asleep, Hunt finally answers.
Thomas Hunt: Yes…
The lights come back on, and Hunt’s eyes open.
Thomas Hunt: Wha— Danny? Were you just asking me something?
Danny: Oh! Uh… no! Nothing important…
Thomas Hunt: Sounds like someone’s finally here. Let’s go.
Thomas Hunt: You’d better behave during our class field trip, Danny.

Let’s go.
