Part 1
Danny: The hearing is almost here. Time to check in with Professor Hunt!
The day before your disciplinary hearing, you meet with the University Board Committee to review procedures.
Thomas Hunt: Allow me to introduce Professor Priya Singh. Professor Singh, this is Danny.
Priya Singh: You’re Danny? Given what I’ve heard, I’m shocked that you’re mot covered in piercings and tattoos. I mean, look at your record! Assaulting a fellow student… trashing a hotel room with Lisa Valentine… and I’m not even going to mention the tank!
Danny: It does sound bad when you say it all together like that.
Priya Singh: It sounds terrible no matter how you say it! Unlike Professor Hunt, I don’t plan to play favorites or go easy on you.
Thomas Hunt: Now just a moment, Professor Singh…
Danny: Yeah! Professor Hunt hates me! There’s no way anyone in their right mind could claim that he’s--
Priya Singh: Enough! I don’t want to hear it.
Priya takes a stack of papers out of her bag and lays them on the table in front of you.
Priya Singh: You know what these are? Your expulsion papers. All they need now is my signature… and you’re gone.
Danny: Why are you showing me this?
Priya Singh: Because I want you to know who you’re dealing with. Professor Hunt is all bluster and no follow-through… but not me. I’m more than willing to get my hands dirty. Be here at ten sharp tomorrow morning. We’ll hear from the three industry professionals foolish enough to vouch for your character. But let’s face it… that’s just a formality. I recommend you say goodbye to any friends you’ve made here.
Danny: We’ll see…

Later, in your dorm room, you try not to panic as you strategize with Ethan and Addison.
Ethan: We’ve already got Lisa Valentine and Zoe Rodriguez to testify for you…
Addison: But Chance hung us out to dry…
Ethan: We’re down but not out. There are still big Hollywood celebrities we can turn to. Let’s brainstorm, people. I need names.
Danny: Chris Winters? He’s a friend. Plus we used his beach house in the video.
Addison: You could ask Brian Ratzik… even though saying his name literally makes me want to vomit.
Ethan: Speaking of people we hate, there’s always Bianca. She is a mini-celebrity from a powerful family.
Addison: You can’t be serious.
Ethan: It’s worth a shot. Our options are limited.
Danny: Okay, we have our list…
Addison: Let’s pay them each a visit and ask for help. It’ll be harder for them to say ‘no’ in person.
Danny: Time to make some house calls.
Part 2
Ethan: We’ve got to get a third Hollywood heavyweight to vouch for you.
You arrive at Chris’s beach house.
Chris: Danny! This is a surprise! Come in! Can I get you something to drink?
Danny: Actually… I’m here to ask a favor. I need your help.
You explain everything about the hearing.
Chris: That’s awful. I’d be happy to be a character reference… But the truth is we haven’t really worked together in any substantial way. If this Professor Singh is as tough as you say she is, she’ll probably discount anything I have to say.
Danny: I guess you’re right. Thanks anyway.
Chris: No sweat. And this is a great reminder that we need to do a project together sometime soon!
Danny: It’s on… as soon as I sort out my academic issues.
Chris: I’ll look forward to it.
You arrive at Galactic Pictures and track down Brian Ratzik!
Brian Ratzik: Talk to me, Danny! You got a new project cooking? Speak. Time is cash.
Danny: I’m actually here to ask for a favor.
Brian Ratzik: Ha. Hahahahaha! HAHAHAHA!
Brian wipes his eyes with a handkerchief.
Brian Ratzik: Oh. Wait a second. Were you serious?
Danny: Never mind. I’ll… I’ll just see myself out.
You arrive at Bianca’s gym and find her and her friends on elliptical machines, watching ‘Access Hollywood.’
Bianca: What are you doing here, Danny?
Jenni: Stalk much?
Danny: I was actually here to, uh… ask a favor.
Bianca: Oh really? Go on…
Danny: Well… I’ve got this hearing coming up.
Bianca: Of course! I’m definitely planning to be there! I can’t wait to tell everyone why you should be expelled!
Danny: After Crash’s team bonding lessons and making ‘Clash at Sunset’ together, I thought maybe you’d vouch for me.
Bianca: As if! All of that phony team bonding made me hate you more than ever.
Lance Sergio: Camping was hell on my manicure. My cuticles are still recovering!
Bianca: I was literally fantasizing about chasing you down and stomping on your face when you showed up. It’s actually really good for my cardio. Now get out of my gym! Your presence is messing with my caloric burn!
Back on campus, you meet up with Ethan and Addison.
Danny: Three swings… three strikes.
Ethan: But that doesn’t mean we’re out of options. I’ve got one more idea… Holly Chang.
Danny: She’s a respected screenwriter, and we’ve done a couple of projects together. And she actually likes me! At least, I think she does.
Ethan: Let’s go pay her a visit and find out.
Half an hour later, you show up at the harbor where Holly’s houseboat is docked. You knock on the door.
Danny: Holly? Anyone home?
Holly: This had better be good, Danny. I’m writing.
Danny: I hate to pull you away from your work… but if you don’t help me, I could get kicked out of Hollywood U!
Holly casts one last look toward her laptop… and then turns back to you.
Holly: In this town of soulless monsters, you’re one of the few people I’d call a friend, Danny.
Danny: So you’re saying--
Holly: I’ll help.

The next day, your entourage gathers to support you.
Addison: Once the committee hears from everyone, they’ll have to let you stay, Danny. I just know it!
Ethan: I love the optimism, but let’s not leave this up to luck. You’re not going into that hearing alone, Danny. You’re bringing your most persuasive friends.
Danny: You mean… you and another agent?
Ethan: Exactly.
Part 3
Ethan: The hearing is starting. Time to send in your best team!
You enter the conference room where the hearing is being held and find Priya Singh and Thomas Hunt sitting with several other professors.
Priya Singh: Nice of you to show up on time. Barely.
Danny: I’m two minutes early.
Priya Singh: Enough. Take a seat.
Thomas Hunt: It looks like all relevant parties are here, so the hearing can begin.
Priya Singh: We’ve already had a chance to review the three projects you submitted. The work is impressive… but the issue of your character is a concern. We’ll start with community members who wish to speak against Danny.
Bianca: Ooh! Me first!
She elbows Lance in the ribs.
Lance Sergio: Oof! Uh, and me! I want to say mean stuff about Danny!
Anders Stone: And I have plenty to say.
Priya Singh: Oh, don’t worry… you’ll all get your turns.
Time - 16 hours, 20 minutes
Bianca sits before the committee and makes her statement.
Bianca: It all started a few months ago when Danny showed up wearing this hideous outfit. I mean, Danny should have been kicked out right then and there on fashion grounds alone.
Priya Singh: Can you skip ahead to the part where Danny committed actual indiscretions?
Bianca: For sure. Danny totally assaulted me with a drink at Blitz. Since then Danny has also sabotaged my music video pitch and tricked me into playing a robot against my will!
Charles: Objection! I file a motion to cross examine the witness!
Priya Singh: Sit. Down. This isn’t a courtroom!
Ethan: You’re right. But article 33-c of the university’s bylaws states that, ‘the accused student shall be allowed to ask one question of any character witness.’
Priya Singh: I see you’ve done your homework. Very well. Go ahead, Danny. Ask Bianca a question.
Danny: Uh… Bianca… isn’t it true that I’ve helped your career?
Bianca: Helped my career? Ha1 That’s a good one.
Danny: But Bianca… didn’t you win a ‘Breakthrough Talent’ award at Sundance… after starring in my movie?
Bianca: That was… that was a coincidence!
Danny: And isn’t it true that--
Priya Singh: Enough! That was already two questions, Danny!
Ethan leans over and whispers in your ear.
Ethan: Nice work popping Bianca’s balloon.
A parade of other witnesses come up…
Jenni: …and I’m pretty sure Danny hacked into my phone and faked some photos that made it look like I was cheating on my boyfriend!
Shae has a few choice words.
Shae: Danny is petty lame, I guess. But then, I hate most people. And animals. And rocks.
Next, Lance shares a few stories…
Lance Sergio: …and then Danny totally stranded us in the middle of the woods.
Charles: Didn’t Danny also lead you out of those woods?
Lance Sergio: Can I sit down now?
Finally, Anders Stone goes up to speak.
Anders Stone: Working with Danny was a true nightmare. Throughout the course of our association, I found Danny to be vindictive and unprofessional.
As Anders speaks, Charles leans over and whispers in your ear…
Charles: I just got word from a buddy who waited Anders’s table this morning… apparently he had his breakfast with a side of vodka. Lots of it.
Priya Singh: Danny. Do you have a question for Mr. Stone?
Danny: Yes… Are you drunk?
Anders Stone: What an absurd thing to ask! I’m not the one whose integrity is in question.
Priya Singh: Actually… I can smell the alcohol on your breath from here.
Charles: And the university bylaws say that statements from witnesses under the influence must be completely disregarded.
Anders Stone: This is an outrage! Do you know who I am?!
Priya stands and brings her face just inches from Anders’s.
Priya Singh: Do you know who I am? You’ve made a mockery of this hearing, Mr. Stone. I suggest you leave.
Ethan: Score one for the good guys!
Jenni: OMG! My Twitter followers think this is hilarious!
Bianca: You can’t tweet about my dad!
Jenni: You can’t tell me what to tweet! This is America!
Bianca: Delete it. Now!
Jenni: Okay. Sigh. Deleting a tweet is like killing a unicorn.
Priya Singh: Order! Order! No more idle chatter!
Charles: This is perfect! The other side looks terrible now!
Rewards
Priya Singh: Now that we’ve heard a few people speak against Danny, we’ll move on to the next stage of the hearing. You must now call three Hollywood professionals to speak in your defense, Danny.
Danny: Sounds perfect. We’ll start with Lisa Valentine!
Lisa: I can’t wait to tell Professor Singh what I think of her and her stupid hearing!
Ethan: Easy there, Lisa. We want you cool and collected… not hostile and ready to say something crazy.
Part 4
Lisa: I’m going to give Professor Singh a piece of my mind!
Lisa: Time to stick it to The Man. Er… Woman? Professor Singh is a chick, right?
Ethan: Lisa… you can’t be reckless right now. Danny’s future is on the line.
Lisa: Typical. You want me to be a good little girl. Just like I’ve always had to be.
Ethan: No. I want you to be responsible. Like an adult.
Lisa: Oh. Right.
Lisa takes a deep breath.
Lisa: Okay. Adult. I’ll give it a shot.
Lisa sits down across the table from Professor Singh and begins to speak.
Lisa: I first met Danny when we decided to work on a music video together… Up until that point, I’d always let other people run my life… mostly my mom. But Danny changed all that! Now I call the shots on my own life.
Bianca: Ha! And look where it’s gotten you!
Bianca throws a magazine on the table. The cover shows Lisa dressed in a provocative outfit with the headline, ‘Lisa Mermaid, Too Grown Up?’
Bianca: I guess we can all see the effect of Danny’s influence.
Priya Singh: What do you have to say to that, Ms. Valentine?
Lisa: You know what? You bet you can see the effects of Danny’s influence. Everyone I knew wanted me to stay a little girl forever… But I’m twenty years old! I’m not a little kid anymore! I was trapped in a box… and Danny helped me escape it!
Priya Singh: Interesting…

Next, Zoe Rodriguez speaks in your defense.
Zoe: Thanks to Danny, I didn’t marry a shallow dirtbag. Danny rocks.
Priya Singh: A fine statement, Ms. Rodriguez, but isn’t it true that--
Zoe: I’m done talking. Don’t test me.
Priya Singh: Very well. Sit down.
As Zoe walks back to sit down, Holly stands.
Danny: Next, we’re bringing up Holly Chang!
Priya Singh: Who?
Danny: Holly Chang! She helped revise the script for ‘Clash at Sunset.’
Priya Singh: And… what other screen credits are on your resume, Ms. Chang?
Ethan: She wrote ‘Permanent Wound.’ That makes her a legend.
Priya Singh: More like a cautionary tale! ‘Permanent Wound’ is most famous for never being made!
Holly: Only because no director was worthy of making it!
Priya Singh: Duly noted. But it is the decision of this board that Ms. Chang is not an ‘industry professional’!
An audible gasp fills the room.
Ethan: We… we request a brief recess to find another person to vouch for Danny.
Priya Singh: There are no breaks, Mr. Blake. Produce your third industry professional immediately.
Ethan: What about article 42-f of the university bylaws? A thirty minute break must be allowed for lunch?
Priya Singh: Very well. You’ve got half an hour. I suggest you use it wisely.
Part 5
Ethan: Let’s take a walk around campus and try to come up with a plan.
Outside, your entourage gathers around you and Ethan.
Ethan: We’ve got to think of another person to vouch for you… Crash? Dean? Lisa’s Mom?
Danny: We’re grasping at straws. And it’s pretty clear the deck is stacked against us anyway.
Ethan: But Danny…
Danny: Ethan, listen. It’s clear Professor Singh was never going to give me a fair shot. And… I just don’t want to spend my last minutes at Hollywood U panicking, trying to find some random celebrity to vouch for me.
Addison: You mean… you’re just giving up?
Crash: You can’t leave Hollywood U! You’re the only reason I ever got in!
Lisa: If not for you, I’d still be singing duets with lobsters and dolphins!
Danny: I… I’m really going to miss you guys.
A few members of your entourage wipe away tears. Addison gives you a long hug.
Ethan: You can’t give up, Danny. We won’t let you.
Danny: Ethan… this isn’t me giving up. It’s me making the best of a bad situation. I came to Hollywood because I wanted to direct… and I got to do that! Not only did I make ‘Clash at Sunset’ and Lisa’s music video, but I even got to supervise Chance and Zoe’s wedding! Professor Singh may be closing the door on Hollywood U… but that’s not going to stop me from following my dream! Because I never give up! I always keep fighting! Whatever the committee decides, I’m going to make it!
Rewards
Just then, you notice Professor Hunt walking toward you.
Thomas Hunt: Danny… that speech was… Well, never mind. I came to tell you that the hearing is about to resume. Did you find a third person to vouch for you?
Danny: No. No I didn’t. Let’s get this over with. Whatever the committee decides, I’m ready to face it.
Part 6
Danny: I’m ready to face the committee.
You face the committee as your entourage waits nervously behind you.
Priya Singh: Is your final industry professional ready to speak on your behalf?
Danny: Actually… no.
Priya Singh: I didn’t think so.
Priya takes your expulsion papers out of her briefcase and readies her pen.
Time - 22 hours, 30 minutes
A hush falls over the room as Priya prepares to sign your expulsion papers.
Priya Singh: Since Danny failed to provide a third industry professional, I have no choice but to--
Thomas Hunt: Not so fast.
Priya Singh: Excuse me?
Professor Hunt stands and walks around from the faculty’s side of the table to the center of the room.
Thomas Hunt: I will vouch for Danny.
Priya Singh: This is highly unusual, Professor Hunt.
Thomas Hunt: Understood. But I’ve worked with this student over the course of countless assignments… And I’m sure you won’t question my credentials.
Priya Singh: Very well. You may proceed.
Professor Hunt addresses the room.
Thomas Hunt: A few months ago, a student named Danny entered my classroom… From the beginning, I found Danny to be narcissistic, entitled--
Danny: You realize you’re defending me, right?
Thomas Hunt: Rude, and otherwise a complete waste of my teaching time.
Danny: Great. I’m so glad this is happening.
Thomas Hunt: However… and I can’t believe I’m saying this…
He sighs.
Thomas Hunt: Danny possesses… some talent. Ahem, quite a bit of talent in fact.
Danny: Uh… what?
Thomas Hunt: In order to succeed in Hollywood, you have to have humility, thick skin, and an iron will. All things I assumed Danny lacked. But I was… I was wrong about Danny. At least in this regard. When I look at Danny now, I see a rising star. One with character and absolute tenacity. Danny has become someone who will never give up… and Hollywood U would be wrong to give up on him.
Rewards
Professor Hunt sits back down as the crowd sits in stunned silence.
Danny: That. Just. Happened.
Priya Singh: I… I will take Professor Hunt’s words into account as I make my final decision. You’ve certainly given me a lot to think about…
Part 7
Priya Singh: I’ve made my decision…
You and your entourage watch as Professor Singh enters the room to announce her decision.
Priya Singh: After carefully weighing the words of Danny’s allies and detractors… I have decided that it is in the best interest of Hollywood University for Danny to remain enrolled.
The room erupts in applause.
Addison: We did it! Danny is here to stay!
Ethan: That’s my client.
Crash: Right on, Danny! You stuck the landing!
As you prepare to leave the room, Priya approaches you.
Priya Singh: You can stay for now… but remember, you’re still on thin ice, Danny. You and your entourage will be under the strictest of scrutiny going forward.
With that, Professor Singh strides past you and out into the hall.
Bianca: This is totally unfair. I thought justice was supposed to be blind, not stupid.
Anders Stone: Oh, don’t worry, Bibi. Danny may have won today… but you’ll still have plenty of opportunities to exact your revenge.
Danny: We’ll see, Anders. I won’t be such an easy target next time.
As you walk away from Anders and out into the hall, you spot Professor Hunt walking away.
Danny: Professor Hunt! Wait up! There’s something I need to say… I owe you one.
Thomas Hunt: You don’t owe me a thing. I simply spoke my mind.
Danny: Just… thank you. I’ll do my best to be worthy of what you said back there.
Thomas Hunt: See that you do. That speech wasn’t about who you are, Danny. It was about who you may eventually become. There may come a day when you have a choice… do you want to become a mere celebrity, or a person of character? When that decision comes, I hope you remember the things I said today.
With that, Professor Hunt exits the building.

As Professor Hunt leaves…
Lisa: There you are! Come on! You’re missing your own party!
Danny: Party?
Lisa: We were all ready to throw you a ‘Going Away’ party…
Addison: But since you’re staying we’re throwing an even better ‘Not Going Away party. Come on!
Part 8
Addison: We’re throwing you a ‘Not Going Away’ party!
Later, in your dorm room…
Lisa: Woo hoo! Who wants to see my new piercing?
Addison: I haven’t seen a party this amazing since… the last time we threw a party!
Ethan: Unfortunately, it looks like someone isn’t having much fun.
Ethan points to the corner, where you spot Holly seething as she picks off the label of a wine cooler.
Danny: Hey, Holly… everything okay?
Holly: Nothing is okay. You heard the professor. I’m a ‘cautionary tale.’
Danny: That wasn’t about you…
Holly: Of course it was… and the worst part is, she’s right! That’s why I want to give you this.
Holly hands you a screenplay. The title page reads, ‘Permanent Wound.’
Danny: You… you’re actually trusting me with this? The number one unproduced script in Hollywood?
Holly: Yes. You’re the only one I trust around here. Don’t disappoint me.
Ethan: We’ve got our script… we’ve got our million dollar budget. This is it, Danny. Our next step up the ladder.
Danny: Thanks, Ethan. I couldn’t have done it without you.
As you circulate through the party, you bump into Zoe Rodriguez!
Zoe: You look happy. Glad to see you didn’t get kicked out.
Danny: It’s all thanks to you! I really appreciate you showing up and vouching for me.
Zoe: I was just keeping my promise. What’s that in your hand?
Danny: ‘Permanent Wound.’ It’s my next project.
Zoe: You’re making ‘Permanent Wound?’ I was gonna try out for that. Back when Scorsese wanted to direct it. Please tell me you haven’t cast the lead yet.
Danny: Nope! I literally just got the script!
Zoe: Perfect. Just call my agent and set it up. I’ll even do it for half my standard rate.
Danny: Awesome! Wait… what’s your standard rate?
Zoe: Fifteen million plus two percent of net.
Danny: Uh… I’m not sure we can quite afford that. We’ve got a million dollar budget.
Zoe: A million? Really? Not offense, but that’s chump change. You need way more to make that script work. Anyway. Let me know if you can scrape together more cash.

Turning away, you head out of the party…
Holly: Danny… are you okay? I heard what Zoe said…
Danny: It’s just been a long day. I might head back to my room and get some rest.

As you reach your room, you find a package sitting there with a note attached.
Danny: The note… it’s from my benefactor.
It reads, ‘Time to take your next step. Time to join my friends in The Silver Circle. -Sincerely, Your Benefactor’
Holly: The Silver Circle? Wow…
Danny: You’ve heard of it?!
Holly: This is huge.
Danny: Well, what is it?
Holly: This changes the whole game!
Danny: Holly! Just tell me what it is!
Want to find out more about The Silver Circle… and what’s inside the mysterious package? Keep playing to see what happens next!

- Level Lisa

- Have 10 Brick Paths

- Level 27+ Danny

- Level Danny
- Have 10 Friends at Level 12+

- Complete a Party with Danny
- Spend 20,000 Cash

Holly: I’ll walk you back.
