Part 1
Ethan: To put together a music video, we’ll need some serious manpower! (To level Friends, use the Workshop!)
You meet up with Ethan at the campus coffee shop.
Ethan: There’s my hardest-working client. Look at you, developing the entourage like it’s no big deal. I love it!
Rewards
Ethan: Think you’ve got enough qualified friends to fill out a killer cast and crew for Lisa’s video?
Danny: I think so...
Ethan: Ha! That was a trap! The truth is, you only know a fraction of the people here!
Danny: Geez. Okay. Maybe you’re right. But I’ve been here less than a week!
Ethan: Exactly. It’s high time you started meeting new people. Case in point. We need a Model for Lisa’s video.
Danny: A model? Where can I find one of those? The career center?
Ethan: You’re killing me, Danny! We’re not trying to hire an accountant! You meet models at parties!
Danny: I have been looking forward to throwing my first big college party.
Ethan: That’s what I’m talking about! To start our party prep, let’s make some more room and set up some velvet ropes!
Part 2
Ethan: We need to expand the campus! (To buy land, click a real estate sign! To buy Velvet Ropes, check the store!)
Ethan: This looks like the perfect place to build Club VIP! Forget trying to cram thirty people into a dorm room! With Club VIP, we’ll have room for classy tables, a full bar, and a sweet dance floor.
Rewards
Danny: So... you think if we build this place, some models will show up to the party tonight?
Ethan: Hopefully. The key to meeting new people is to make sure you send the right members of your entourage to mingle!
So far, you’ve met a few Basic types: Movie Stars, Fashionistas, and Directors. Now you can create Combination types by building Club VIP, then sending two members of your entourage to Party there! For example, you might get a Model by partying with a Movie Star and a Fashionista! Results can be random, and some types are rarer than others! You might need to try a few times to get certain types or genders! Now it’s time to get started... go buy Club VIP in the store! The party with a Movie Star and a Fashionista!
Part 3
Ethan: After you buy CLUB VIP in the store, use it to send a MOVIE STAR and a FASHIONISTA to a PARTY!
Ethan: Woohoo! Awesome party, Danny!
Addison: I’ve danced to every song!
Ethan: And I’ve talked to basically every hottie here. Seriously awesome, Danny.
Addison: Three Kardashians, two Baldwins, and the entire cast of ‘Glee’ just showed up!
Danny: And they’re all headed for the dance floor!
Addison: Did you guys meet the model who shoed up? So hot!
Danny: Yep! We met. And we totally hit it off! Long story short, we’re getting a model in our entourage!
Rewards
Addison: So... where’d our new friend go?
Ethan: To the Admissions Office! Sometimes the paperwork can take a while.
Danny: Let’s go recruit our new friend so that we can get back to the party!
Part 4
Ethan: Looks like a model is joining your entourage! Go check the Admissions Office!
Around 4:00 AM....
Addison: Our new model friend is finally an official member of your entourage. Now it’s a party!
Danny: Woo hoo! Let’s dance ‘til sunrise!
Ethan: Partying isn’t just fun, you know. It’s an essential part of making it in Hollywood! Remember to keep going out and partying, even if you’re busy with other stuff too. You never know when you’ll need someone in your entourage for a project. Once, I needed a stuntman for a Red Bull ad, and I didn’t have one. I ended up having to do parkour in a thousand-dollar suit!
As the party winds to a close, you and Ethan sit in the grass and watch the sun rise.
Danny: So... we’ve got our model. Are we ready to get started on the pitch for Lisa?
Ethan: You bet! Now that we have our model, we’re going to need two more people to fill out our cast and crew... One is going to be your choice. The other is going to be a stuntman!
Danny: Sounds awesome!
Ethan: But before we assemble our team, we need something else... a script that sizzles! We’ve got to tell a story! We need something with Wow Factor. We need something no one’s ever seen before... We need a script from Holly Chang.
Rewards
A few minutes later, you and Ethan are in his Porsche, speeding toward the Long Beach Marina.
Danny: So... this may be an embarrassing question... but who’s Holly Chang?
Ethan: Only the most legendary young screenwriter you’ve never heard of. When Holly was 19, she wrote a script called ‘Permanent Wound’ that everyone wanted to make. Holly Chang was about to get paid. But Holly shot down every deal... she’s a real control freak. She had a vision... and she didn’t trust any director to do it justice.
Danny: Do we really need a hotshot screenwriter to come up with a concept for a music video?
Ethan: Of course not. Just like Lionsgate didn’t need to cast J-Law in the Hunger Games! But it sure helped, didn’t it?
Danny: Got it. But what makes you think Holly Chang will want to work with me?
Ethan: Just a hunch. Holly’s an ‘artist’ who loathes fake, slick Hollywood types... basically, everything you’re not.
You and Ethan pull up next to a houseboat floating in the harbor.
Danny: Wait... she lives here?
Ethan: Like I said, Holly’s different. She’s a screenwriter, so she’s basically insane. Ready? Let’s go meet our crazy genius.
Part 5
Ethan: Time for you to meet Holly Chang!
Ethan knocks on Holly’s door. A few seconds later, it opens just a crack.
Holly: The answer’s still ‘no,’ Ethan. I don’t want an agent!
Ethan: This is about something new! A writing project. Just hear us out. Come on, Holly. My Shakespeare. My Jane Austen. My J.K. Rowling! You’ve got to let us in.
Holly: I’m impressed you were able to name two female authors, Ethan. Fine. Come in. You’ve got two minutes. Make every word count.
Danny: I’m Danny. I’m looking to put together a video for Lisa Valentine... and I could use a script!
Holly: Danny... that name sounds familiar. You’re the one on probation at Hollywood U. Something about getting into a brawl at a club? Just so we’re clear, I don’t associate with troublemakers.
Ethan: Don’t believe everything you hear. Bianca’s got her special way of bending the truth. Throw enough dollars at a situation, and people start to believe even the ugliest lies.
Holly: Whether it’s true or false, it still means that Danny’s a dangerous person to work with. Reputation counts for more than it should in this town.
Ethan: Come on, Holly. Give Danny a chance. Don’t write us off just yet!
Holly: You’re right. Okay, Danny. I’ve got a question for you. And if you have the right answer, I’ll write that script for you.
This quest has a special bonus reward. The quest will be ready to collect in 5 minutes. Come back and claim it within 15 minutes to get the bonus!
Time - 5 minutes
Danny: Okay, what’s your question?
Holly: It’s a simple one. Why do you want to work with me?
Ethan shoots you a worried glance.
Ethan: Isn’t it obvious, Holly? It’s because...
Holly: Hey! No Ethan-style smooth-talking help on this one. Let Danny answer!
Danny: Well... after what Ethan told me about ‘Permanent Wound’, I could tell you’re a perfectionist. And I only work with the best. You don’t create perfection with a mediocre team. And like you said, I’m on probation. I can’t accept anything but perfection if I want to stay at Hollywood U.
Holly: Ha! I like your attitude. So many people around here are willing to settle. They don’t understand how important it is to work with the right people. That’s when magic happens. Okay. I’ll write your script.
Rewards
You spend the next few minutes listening to Lisa Valentine’s song together.
Holly: It’s fascinating... something in it reminds me of being thirteen, of days spent cutting class to feed pigeons on a park bench. It’s the song of a fledgling who longs to fly.
Ethan: Sure, whatever. To me, it sounds like a song about a girl who likes to party, but that’s why you’re the writer.
Holly: I can work with this. I will work with this.
Ethan: So about your payment...
Holly: My usual fee. And I want the bench I just envisioned.
Danny: Huh?
Holly: I want you to donate a bench with my name on it to the university! It should be near the pigeons. And I want you sitting on it when you read my script, Danny.
Ethan: Writers... sure thing, Holly. Whatever you say.
Part 6
Ethan: You’ve got to spend money to make money!
A few hours after you pay Holly and donate the bench, you’re hanging out on campus with Ethan and Addison...
Addison: I can’t believe you got to meet Holly Chang! She’s one of my top-five favorite bloggers!
Danny: Speak of the devil... I just got an email from her! She sent the script!
Addison: Already? But you only met her a few hours ago!
Ethan: She’s getting slow.
Danny: This is good stuff! Part fun, part edgy! I can’t wait to make this! Lisa’s going to flip out over this script!
Ethan: Maybe. We’ve got our Wow Factor, but we also need the team to make it happen. I’m going to need you to take point on getting everyone together... In the meantime, I’ll set up the contracts, book the caterers, and run everything by my lawyers... you know, just the thousand details that I handle as your agent!
Danny: Okay! I’ll assemble the team! But... where do I start?
Ethan: Hmm, you’ll direct. That much is obvious. But we’re going to need some elite fashion or acting talent!
Danny: I’ll recruit some acting talent!
Ethan: Let’s get to it then.
Rewards
Danny: Sounds like it’s go time. I know just who I want to recruit!
Part 7
Danny: We need someone to star along with Lisa in the video!
You find Tegwen onstage, shouting lines into the empty theater.
Tegwen: Don’t you get it, Martinez? I’m not your friend. I was never your friend. I always wanted something more.
Tegwen suddenly changes facial expressions and takes on a southern accent.
Tegwen: So now I’m just ‘Martinez’ to you? What happened to ‘Chris’? What happened to ‘Us’?
Danny: Powerful stuff. I can’t believe you’re playing both roles!
Tegwen: Thanks! But this would be a lot easier if I had someone to read Martinez’s lines! Doing both parts myself is harder than it looks!
Danny: I think I can help... but I might need a favor from you in return!
Tegwen: You got it! Now here’s the script! Let’s do this!
Time - 15 minutes
You join Tegwen onstage.
Tegwen: So what’s it going to be, Officer Martinez? Am I just your partner... or can I be your PARTNER?
Danny: Don’t put me in this position, Wolofski! What would the chief say if he saw us--
Tegwen: Funny you should ask... because the chief is in the trunk!
Danny: You double-crossed him?!
Tegwen: But only so we could be together!
Danny: You fool! You’ve cost us everything! Everything!
Tegwen: And... scene! Thanks for the help, Danny!
Danny: No sweat. Now... about that favor. Have you ever thought about starring in a Lisa Valentine music video?
Tegwen: Only every day of my life! That’s not even a favor, it’s a gift!
Danny: Sounds like I can count you in!
Rewards
Later, you meet up with Ethan outside the campus bookstore.
Ethan: The team’s really coming together now... but I think we need one more person! Lucky for you, I know just the guy. Let me go talk to his people and set up a meeting. We’re really going to need to bring our A-game for this!
Part 8
Ethan: We need to go into the meeting STRONG! Help me out, Danny! (To level up Ethan, use the Workshop!)
Ethan: Good news, Danny! I was able to set up a meeting with the last potential cast member for the video! Come with me!
A few minutes later, you and Ethan are walking through a local park.
Ethan: Holly’s script calls for an incredibly dangerous stunt... So we need a stuntman! Also known as a lunatic who’s willing to put his body at risk.
Danny: Wait... does this have anything to do with that huge ramp over there? Or the guy sitting in a shopping cart at the top?!
Ethan: You catch on quick, Danny. Allow me to introduce... Spencer ‘Crash’ Yamaguchi!
Crash: LET’S DO THIS!
You and Ethan keep your eyes on Crash as he hurtles down the ramp!
Danny: I can’t look... but I also can’t not look!
The shopping cart flies off the end of the ramp! Crash catapults out in midair and cannonballs into the lake!
Danny: Is he okay?
Rewards
Crash: Yeah! That was awesome! I’m so PUMPED!
Crash waves at a nearby camera crew then heads over to you and Ethan.
Ethan: My boy Crash here’s a stuntman. He got started on YouTube. Since then he’s been in a circus troupe, participated in the XGames, and had a small role in a Jackass movie!
Danny: Any chance you want to add a Lisa Valentine music video to that resume?
Crash: You want me to work with soapy-clean Lisa Mermaid? No way. I’ve got a reckless image to maintain.
Danny: But she’s not Lisa Mermaid anymore! She’s taking her image in a totally new direction!
Crash: Okay... assuming I buy that... I’m still not sure about you and your team. I don’t work with people unless they’re fearless.
Ethan: Are you kidding? Danny’s got the toughest crew in Hollywood!
Crash: In that case... why don’t you prove it? I’m doing another run down the ramp. Who wants to come with me?
Ethan pulls you aside and whispers into your ear.
Ethan: Just make sure the victim... er, volunteer wears something with a lot of padding.
Part 9
Crash: If you want to do the stunt, you’ve gotta dress the part!
Tegwen stands at the top of a ramp, looking down at the lake below.
Tegwen: I can’t believe I’m doing this.
Ethan: Sorry, Tegwen but this is the only way we’re getting Crash on board. Sometimes you’ve got to suffer for your art. Besides, I’m sure this is totally safe!
Crash: Woo hoo! This is going to be our most dangerous stunt yet! It won’t be safe at all! And I’m giving you the choice of vehicle, Danny!
Danny: Skateboard with only three wheels!
Crash: Bold choice! Definitely the most likely to result in broken bones!
Tegwen: It... it is? Can we switch?
Crash: Ha! Great joke! It’s times like this that I wish I’d remembered to bring a helmet. You ready?
Tegwen: No!
Crash: Ah, that’s just your mouth-fear talking! I know in your heart it’s a yes, otherwise you wouldn’t be here! Here we go! Adrenaline!
Time - 20 minutes
Tegwen and Crash plummet down the ramp, both standing on the skateboard.
Tegwen: This skateboard definitely wasn’t built for two!
Crash: I know! I’m surprised you agreed to this! This is SUPER dangerous! Lean left! We’ve got to compensate for the missing wheel!
Tegwen and Crash reach the bottom of the ramp and get catapulted upwards, sailing high into the air!
Tegwen: We’re going to die!
Crash: You’ve got it all wrong! This is living!
Tegwen and Crash land with a splash!
Tegwen: We... we lived! We lived!
A few minutes later, back on dry land...
Crash: Awesome job, Tegwen! You and your crew are definitely EXTREME! I’m in for the video!
Ethan: Right on! I’m proud of you, Tegwen.
Tegwen: Don’t talk to me.
Ethan: Aww, don’t be mad. Hug it out?
Tegwen: Fine. Okay. But only because that worked, and I’m alive.
Ethan: Heck yeah, you’re alive! Even better, we’ve got our full crew assembled! We’re ready to make our pitch to Lisa!

The next morning, you and your team wait in the lobby of Lisa’s talent agency.
Danny: What’s the holdup? Shouldn’t we be presenting now?
Ethan: Her assistant said she had another meeting...
Suddenly the elevator doors fly open, and you see...
Bianca: Are you stalking me or something?
Shae: Yeah, B... you might need to get that restraining order you were talking about.
Lance Sergio: Heh. ‘Restraining.’
Danny: Look, I’m just here to pitch a concept to Lisa Valentine for her new music video.
Jenni: LOL. Wai, let me get a picture so I can Instagram a ‘before’ and ‘after you have your dreams crushed’ collage.
Bianca: What Jenni means is that there’s no way you’re getting the gig. We just blew Lisa away with our pitch.
Jenni: Totes.
Shae: Aww... and I heard Danny and Ethan spent all that time running around and getting people to join their doomed little entourage.
Lance Sergio: Let’s face it. There’s no way your band of D-List misfits can compete with us. We own this town.
Ethan: Don’t take the bait, Danny. Right now it’s all about your pitch. Eyes on the prize!
Can you impress Lisa Valentine now that Bianca’s gotten to her first? Find out in the next quest!
Ethan: To put together a music video, we’ll need some serious manpower! (To level Friends, use the Workshop!)

- Anyone wearing a Lululuscious or a Don’t Sweat It Outfit (Tegwen)
